I am planning a trip to DisneyWorld Magic Kingdom in April with my daughter who will be almost 2.5 years old then. Is there any advice you could offer me as I am a single mom. thankyou

    Hi Stephanie!

Here are some of my thoughts and a few pointers on bringing a very young child to Walt Disney World.

You didn't say if this is your first trip to Walt Disney World, but some panelists recently answered a question about first time planning and you might find it useful to see several opinions.

I also recommend ordering the free planning DVD and picking up the tour book "The Complete Walt Disney World" by Julie and Mike Neal.  It's a great book for people who haven't been to Walt Disney World that often.  It has won numerous awards and has over 500 color pictures.

The biggest advice I can offer is to slow down and enjoy the time with your daughter.  Walt Disney World is a magical place, but it is also a large place; it's impossible to do everything in a single vacation.  Also remember that your daughter may enjoy the pool at the resort  more than any attraction in a theme park!

Enjoy planning and write back if you have any more questions!
