    We are planning a trip to DisneyWorld for the first time in Dec and I have seen many things about all the christmas activities but was curious if we will still be able to see all the normal parades and events as well, or are they replaced by christmas ones

    I am very pleased to welcome you to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. The first time I traveled to the Walt Disney World Resort was also in December, so the holidays are my favorite time to visit.

    While classic yuletide events, like Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and the Candlelight Processional, are offered throughout the Walt Disney World Resort, you will still be able to enjoy classics like the Festival of Fantasy Parade, and Wishes nighttime spectacular, both at the iconic Magic Kingdom Park.

    Please note that due to special events, scheduled attractions, times and dates may change. In 2016, on the nights that Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party took place, Wishes nighttime spectacular was not offered. Instead, guests who had purchased tickets to the party enjoyed Holiday Wishes, a special holiday fireworks spectacular.

    My suggestion is to visit the Walt Disney World calendar online to check park, attractions, shows, and entertainment schedules. In addition, you should always consult the times guide available at the entrance of each park.
