Hi Megan -
Thanks for stopping by planDisney! I love visiting Walt Disney World Resort in the fall. The weather is beautiful and one of my favorite festivals, the
EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival, is usually taking place. Your visit may even catch the very beginnings of the holiday decorations and festivities throughout the parks and resort hotels. As you get closer to your trip, keep an eye out for dates and more information about these annual events. There is so much seasonal fun to enjoy!
Megan,
parking at Disney Resorts Collection hotels is complimentary for guests who have a dining reservation, but this cannot be used as an all-day parking location while you visit the theme parks. After your dining reservation, you would need to move your vehicle and park at the theme park you are planning to visit that day. When you arrive at the park, you'll find options for both standard and preferred parking. It's also worth noting that you only have to pay for parking once per day even if you choose to park hop to others later that same day! Just make sure to save your parking receipt to show when you arrive at the next theme park.
One of my favorite ways to start my day is with a character breakfast and you'll find several great choices outside the parks. I have really enjoyed
Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort and
Minnie's Beach Bash at Cape May Cafe located inside Disney's Beach Club Resort as it gives us a chance to see some of our favorite friends to start the day! In case you missed the announcement,
1900 Park Fare is reopening in April and will feature a new character line-up at this dining location inside Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. I love that Mirabel will be meeting guests here! If you're looking for breakfast options that are not character dining, I recommend visiting
Kona Cafe at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort for their signature Tonga Toast.
Megan, I hope you have a wonderful time planning your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort. Please know that you are always welcome to be our guest here at planDisney and we hope to see you again with any other vacation planning questions you have!
See ya real soon,
Kristi
