We are planning a trip to Disneyworld during the Christmas holidays. I was wondering what type of clothing should I bring for my family, son 12 and daughter 1. Will it be warm enough for shorts/capris or will it be cool enough for long sleeve shirts?

    Hi NaSheda,

December can bring a mixture of different temperatures at Walt Disney World.  We were just there over the holidays.  For the first days of our trip we were in shorts and t-shirts but by the end of the trip we were in pants and jackets.  So, I can say it can be warm enough for shorts/capris, and it can be cool enough for long sleeve shirts.

I'd encourage you to follow the weather forecast prior to your trip.  I used www.weather.com, but there are other weather websites that can be helpful, too.  I was very glad that I had packed shorts for everyone, though.  The forecast didn't really indicate the warmer temperatures, but I thought I better pack some just in case.  You may want to do something similar:  a little bit of warm clothes and a little bit of cold clothes as a precaution.

Have a great trip; the holidays at Walt Disney World are our magic and wonder!
