I am planning a trip to DisneyWorld in December for my extended family of 16 people. Do you have any group rates or other resources for group travel?

    Seasons greetings, Lynn!

Welcome to planDisney, the most magical place on the internet. Wow, Lynn, what a special occasion you are planning, and you picked such a magical time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort too! I know I have the most magical memories from my trip with my family, and there is no better way to ring in the season than by celebrating the holidays at the Disney Parks.

Making plans for big groups can get a bit challenging, but thankfully there are a few resources you can turn to for help! First, my biggest tip when planning a Disney vacation is to stay at a Disney Resort hotel, as you get to stay in the magic throughout your stay. Thankfully, there is a phone line that you can call for group reservations of ten rooms or more, so that could be an option. If your party won't require ten rooms, but you still need some assistance, you can call the regular phone number for Disney Resort hotels, and they will also be able to help. As for your dining reservations, I would suggest calling 407-WDW-DINE as they will be able to help further. However, if you ever have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out to Disney Cast Members via chat, email or phone and they will be able to direct you to the best place for help!

If you would like a worry-free activity for your whole family, I highly recommend you visit the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, which begins on November 25th, 2022. Not only do you get to try treats from around the world, but this festival also allows you to learn about different holiday traditions. Those with a sweet tooth in your family will love the Holiday Cookie Stroll, a holiday tradition at EPCOT where you get a cookie at five marked booths throughout the World Showcase. After getting each of your cookies, your passport will be stamped, and you will receive a complimentary prize at the end. Also available at that time of year is Olaf's Holiday Tradition Expedition, a scavenger hunt where you have to find all the statues of Olaf around the pavilions. As with all other EPCOT scavenger hunts, you can purchase your map and stickers at select merchandise locations, and you will also receive a complimentary prize at the end! End the day by watching the Candlelight Processional at the America Gardens Theatre, and you've got the perfect, worry-free day!

I hope this was helpful, Lynn, and that you and your Ohana will have the best day ever on your next Disney vacation. If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your trip, please don't hesitate to reach out. After all, the best kind of magic is the one that happens when we're all together!

Have a happy, merry, holly, jolly day!
