Hey Jimmy,
I’m glad to see you again at planDisney! I hope you’ve been enjoying your visits to Walt Disney World this year. Now that you’ve experienced Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, I’m excited to hear you’ll be visiting
Jollywood Nights next!
I confirmed with a Cast Member that you should be able to bring your lightsaber into Hollywood Studios for the party. There are some
rules for dressing for separately ticketed events like Disney Jollywood Nights. A few to keep in mind with your lightsaber are: Guests ages 14 years or older may not bring props that resemble or could be mistaken for an actual weapon, and costumes and props may not contain sharp or pointed objects, or materials that may strike another Guest. Ultimately, it is up to the discretion of the Security Cast Members at the theme park entrance.
Now let’s talk about your photo opportunities! Jollywood Nights is full of themed photo spots with props and magical enhancements. In Galaxy’s Edge, you’ll have the chance to meet and take photos with The Mandalorian and Grogu, and
Chewbacca in his Life Day robe, and the Life Day Orb. And it gets better, because the
PhotoPass photos and videos from Jollywood Nights are included in your event ticket! Looking over the guide for Jollywood Nights, I don’t see any other photo spots in Galaxy’s Edge, but you might still see a PhotoPass photographer roaming, or you can take photos on your own.
Of course, between photos you’ll want to grab a snack or two! Luckily,
Disney Parks Blog shared a
Foodie Guide to the Jollywood Nights. You can even preview an event guide to Disney Jollywood Nights in your My Disney Experience app. Enter “Disney Jollywood Nights Event Guide” in the search bar to find all the information in your My Disney Experience app.
I hope this helps, Jimmy. Have a great time at Disney Jollywood Nights! If you have any more questions for future Disney visits, please come back to see us again at
planDisney!
