Hi there, Jasmin, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m so excited for your summertime adventures to begin soon! And what an amazing experience that will be, to enjoy the Happiest Place on Earth with your husband and children!
As a mom of three little Mouseketeers, I understand the importance of bringing your stroller to the
Disneyland Resort! All three of my children ask to take a break in our double stroller at some point during our Disney day! First off, you’ll want to make sure your stroller fits within the
new stroller size regulations. So, you’ll want to measure your stroller at its longest and widest points, and if it’s larger than 31” wide by 52” long, then it won’t be allowed inside the Disneyland Resort. The good news is that most single and double strollers will fit within these
guidelines. My double-wide stroller fits just fine. If your stroller is larger than 31” by 52”, you can choose to
rent a single or double stroller from the Disneyland Resort upon your arrival.
Once inside the parks, you’ll find designated spots to park your stroller in front of attractions, restaurants, and shows. As for the safety of your stroller, I have personally been bringing my stroller to the Disneyland Resort for the past seven years, and haven’t had any issues. At times, Cast Members may have to move strollers if they’re preparing for a parade to come by, or if a stroller isn’t parked in a stroller parking area. I have had this happen several times after exiting an attraction, and had to search a bit before I found my stroller. If this happens to you, look for a nearby Cast Member and ask for help – there’s a good chance they moved it recently. You can also attach a balloon or ribbon to your stroller to help you easily find it.
I recommend bringing your purse, phone, wallet, and any other important items with you on attractions. You are welcome to bring a purse or backpack with you on attractions as well. All coasters or faster attractions also include a pouch to hold any hats or EARs that could potentially fly off during the ride.
If you happen to be staying at a
Disneyland Resort Hotel, be sure to take advantage of a super handy (and complimentary!) service that’s offered to Hotel Guests… you can send any purchases directly back to your hotel, so you don’t have to worry about lugging around bags and possibly losing something along the way. During your transaction, you’d just notify the Cast Member of your plans, and off you go! You would then pick up your purchase at your hotel’s Bell Services desk after 7:00 AM the next day. Now that’s Disney magic!
Also, be sure to check out the
Baby Care Centers, located inside both parks – they’re helpful for feeding, changing, nursing, and simply taking a break with your little ones. The
Disneyland app is also a great resource for finding favorite Characters, checking wait times, and mobile ordering!
Wishing you a magical visit to the Disneyland Resort with your family this summer!
