    We are planning a trip to Disneyland and thinking maybe early January 2017. I am trying to determine when Haunted Mansion Holiday décor will be taken down. All I can find for past dates is it closes in "early January".

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Dennis. Thanks for stopping by with your question about Haunted Mansion Holiday. My son really loves, and prefers, the Haunted Mansion Holiday because it's fun and whimsical compared to the original. Zero is also one of his favorite Disney characters.

    The exact dates for Holidays at the Disneyland Resort have not been officially released yet. Last year's holiday celebrations ran from November 13, 2015 through January 6, 2016. I see that you plan to arrive on January 3, so there's a good chance you'll be able to experience the Haunted Mansion Holiday. Be sure to check back on the Disneyland website or Disney Parks Blog in early September, as that is usually when announcements for holiday happenings are released.
