We are planning a trip to Disneyland in October During halloween. What is Disneyland hours? Also if we do not purchase the Boo Bash stuff will we be asked to leave the park? How do you purchase those tickets pre advanced.

    Hey there Kevin,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for your question! I love visiting the Disneyland Resort during the Halloween season - there are so many fun things to see and do (and eat!) during this time of the year.

With the Halloween season, we also get Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disney Halloween Party! This is a separately ticketed event held in Disney California Adventure Park on select nights in August, September, and October. In fact, the specific dates for this event were just announced this week as part of the Halfway to Halloween content on the Disney Parks Blog! The event starts at 6:00 PM, so if you do not have a ticket for the event then you would need to leave Disney California Adventure Park. However, if you purchase the Park Hopper option, then you can hop over to Disneyland Park instead!

It looks like there are events planned on October 29 and 31 this year, so if you're planning on arriving on October 30 then there will be just one more event after you arrive on Halloween night. Tickets for these events have sold out quickly the past few years. While there hasn't been an official announcement yet as to when they'll go on sale, my suggestion would be to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for when that date is shared and then plan on trying to purchase them as soon as they're available!

The best way to check park hours is on the Hours & Events Schedule page. This calendar is updated about six weeks out from the current date, so you'll want to check back in September to see the hours for the dates of your trip.

Thanks for your question, Kevin! I hope you have a spooky fun time visiting the Happiest Place on Earth later this year.

    Have a Magical Day,
    Greg
