Hello. We are planning a trip to Disneyland in October and we have droids that we built on a previous trip we’d like to bring with us. Is there a place we can store them during part of the day so we don’t have to carry them with us everywhere?

Bright suns, Tara. Welcome to planDisney!

I’m delighted to see you’ll be heading to the Disneyland Resort next month. You must’ve worked hard to build your astromech during a previous pit stop at the Droid Depot.  I see that you’re planning on bringing your droids with you on your next voyage to the Galaxy’s Edge. It can be difficult and cumbersome to lug around the droids as you explore other lands within Disneyland Park. While there is no storage area to hold your droids within Galaxy’s Edge, you can stow them away safely in a locker near the park entrance.

Locker rentals are available both inside and outside the parks. At Disneyland Park, lockers are located on Main Street, U.S.A. next to Market House (that serves Starbucks signature beverages and Disney-favorite sweet treats). Outside the parks, you can find lockers on The Esplanade (on the side closest to Downtown Disney District). There are varying sizes of lockers to choose from, with larger sized lockers located on The Esplanade. The current rates to rent a locker range from $7 to $15 per day, depending on the size.

I hope this information is helpful for you, Tara. If you have more trip-planning questions, please don’t hesitate to visit us on planDisney again.

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes or Disney Cruise Line voyages with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
