Hello, Allison!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so glad to hear you’re planning a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth this holiday season! I love exploring the
Disneyland Resort that time of year because of all the magical extras to experience.
The Disneyland Resort's holiday festivities officially begin on November 9 this year, so your visit is perfectly timed! Both Disneyland Resort theme parks will have lots of holiday-themed decor, attractions, food and entertainment for you to enjoy. At Disneyland Park, highlights include Haunted Mansion Holiday, A Christmas Fantasy Parade, and the “Believe...In Holiday Magic” Fireworks Spectacular. After the fireworks, snow falls in the skies above “it’s a small world” Holiday in Fantasyland, over portions of Main Street, U.S.A., and near the Rivers of America as a special seasonal treat! At Disney California Adventure Park, you’ll want to experience Disney Festival of Holidays and the special holiday decor and attractions in Cars Land.
I highly recommend experiencing the
Holiday Time at Disneyland Resort Tour. It’s a guided walking tour through both parks that introduces Guests to Disneyland holiday traditions from around the world. You’d enjoy reserved seating for A Christmas Fantasy Parade, ride a classic attraction, sample a scrumptious holiday treat, receive a collectible pin, and more. My family took this tour together a few years ago and loved every magical moment of it!
I hope this helps and that you have a wonderfully pixie-dusted vacation, Allison. Please visit us again with any other planning questions you can dream of!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
