Greetings Emily, and thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
You and your family will have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort near the end of March. Those dates you've indicated coincide with Spring Break for many school districts, meaning the parks will usually have larger crowds and longer operating hours.
I can give you a general idea of when parades and nighttime spectaculars occur. In California Adventure, the Pixar Play Parade has consistently been slotted for 5:15pm, and the World of Color show times have been at 9pm or 9:45pm. At Disneyland, Mickey's Soundsational Parade has consistently been at 4:15pm. Some nights, there is only one show time for Paint the Night parade at 8pm. When there are two showings, the times are 8pm and 10pm, with Disneyland Forever fireworks at 8:40pm.
Those are simply based on current show times officially published on the
Disneyland website. Say for instance, your family wants to enjoy World of Color. I recommend making a
dining reservation no later than 7pm at a California Adventure restaurant so you'll have time to enjoy your meal, then find a viewing spot for
World of Color. There are many dining packages with reserved viewing areas available for Guests to choose as well.
I hope this information helps with planning your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth. I anticipate the official schedule for your upcoming trip will be out soon. Times are subject to change so please be sure to check the
website for the most up-to-date information. If you have further questions, please feel free to visit me on the Panel again.
Have a magical day,
Kiki
