I am planning our trip to Disneyland and have made reservations for Ariels's Grotto Dinner with World of Color Viewing. I was wondering if you get a choice of the World of Color show that your reserved viewing is for. Thank you.

Greetings, Shayla! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

A World of Color Dining Package is a great way to have a delicious meal and get one of the best spots to view the show! Viewing areas for the World of Color Dining Packages are usually right down in front in center. I was informed by a Cast Member that the show for which you will receive preferred viewing with your Dining Package reservation is determined by availability/capacity. Meaning, if there are two performances of World of Color and there are no vouchers available for the first show at the time of your reservation, then you will be given vouchers for the second performance.

However, from past experience, I've found that if you have an earlier reservation, before 6:00 p.m. or 6:30 p.m., you will most likely receive preferred viewing vouchers for the first show. Later reservations will typically have viewing for the second show. If you are concerned about which show you might be viewing, I would stop by Ariel's Grotto earlier in the day of your reservation and chat with a Cast Member to see how availability is shaping up for that evening's performances.

I hope your visit to the Disneyland Resort is full of magic and memories!
