We’re planning a trip to Disneyland the last week of February 2025, and I see there’s early park closure on Thursday February 27th. Is this for a special event?

Hi Paige, welcome to planDisney! Your Disneyland Resort adventure is just around the corner. How exciting! Whether it's your first visit or you're returning to make more unforgettable memories, you're in for a truly enchanting time.

Paige, I just took a look at the Hours & Events Calendar for the week of February 24, 2025, and the parks seem to be operating at their normal hours. California Adventure generally closes at 9 p.m. or 10 p.m., and Disneyland between 10 p.m. and midnight, depending on the day of the week.

There are some instances when a park would close a little early, such as for the Disneyland After Dark events. Sweethearts’ Nite, 90s Nite, and Star Wars Nite all have dates on the calendar for 2025, but none of them fall during the last week of February. So you should be able to enjoy a full day at either park!

Will you still be in town on February 28? If so, Hot Dog! That's the first day of the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival. This is one of my favorite annual events, not only for the creative menu items but also for the entertainment, encounters with Chef Goofy, and the return of the classic Soarin' Over California attraction.

While you are visiting, I highly recommend watching World of Color. It's one of my favorite nighttime spectaculars, and according to the schedule, you should be able to catch it on any night of your vacation. Paradise Bay will come to life with towering fountains, colorful lights, special effects, and moments from beloved films that are projected onto a curtain of water. I'm not a night person, but I'll stay out late to watch this show. You can even get a dining or dessert package to secure a great viewing spot.

Paige, please let us know if you have any other questions. We at planDisney are always happy to help! Wishing you a trip full of fun, laughter, and plenty of pixie dust.
