We are planning a trip to Disneyland in June 2025 and a trip to Disneyworld in October 2025. When is the earliest we can book room in a Disney resort?

    Hello, Ron!

Thank you for reaching out to planDisney! It sounds like 2025 will be a magical year for your family! I like comparing the similarities and differences between the two Disney destinations. For example, Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, and "it's a small world" have different features at the two parks. My family always debates which versions we like best!

In previous years, hotel reservations for Disneyland Resort usually opened up in the summer for the following year. Hopefully, reservations will become available within the next couple of months! I recommend checking the website and following Disneyland's social media pages in the summer to see when dates open up.

Good news! I just checked the Walt Disney World Resort website, and rooms are currently available in October 2025. Offers and discounts are not typically announced this early for that timeframe. You may want to make your reservation now and then try to modify it later if any promotions are announced in the future.

There are three categories of resorts at Walt Disney World: value, moderate, and deluxe. Each category has different benefits! When I am looking for a budget-friendly option, I usually pick Disney's Pop Century Resort, a value resort. I love its fun atmosphere and proximity to the Disney Skyliner! For moderate resorts, I recommend Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside or Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, and I love all of the deluxe resorts. It is hard to pick just one!

Ron, enjoy your most magical year! If you have other questions, please reach out to us again!
