Greetings Josephine!
Thank you for bringing your question our way! Welcome to planDisney!
This is a wonderful idea and it happens to be my favorite way to purchase Disney Gift Cards as well! In my experience, the gift card limit when purchasing through an authorized third-party retailer is $500. But, there is no need to worry if your hotel stay is more than that amount. You can buy multiple Gift Cards and easily combine them at
DisneyGiftCard.com. You may also use this website to check your balance and register your cards. Once the cards are consolidated, you can use a single card to pay the balance owed for your
Disneyland Resort Hotel reservation.
Simply make your hotel reservation as you normally would and when prompted to enter your payment information, scroll halfway down the page and select “Pay with a Disney Gift Card” then enter the information on the card. A credit card may be required when checking in to the hotel. But, you may pay any balance owed with a Disney Gift Card. Simply visit the front desk on the last day of your hotel stay to close out the balance owed. If you forget to do this, the credit card on file may be charged instead.
Enjoy your visit to the Disneyland Resort! Come back to planDisney for more help with your upcoming vacation!
