Hi there! We are planning a trip to Disneyland in July. How far in advance will we be able to book our tickets for our visit?

    Hi Jean,

I love that you're planning ahead! I'm a planner too, and I truly believe planning ahead leads to success. July is a great time to visit the Disneyland Resort! You'll get to enjoy sunny California, just be sure to bring plenty of sunblock, and the weather does tend to be on the warmer side, historically averaging in the mid-80s, so dress accordingly! The weather is also on the dry side in July, so we typically bring our own insulated water bottles to ensure we have ice-cold water with us throughout the day. Our family favorite is the Hydro Flask brand, but any will work!

Currently, theme park reservations can be booked up to 120 days in advance, so you still have some time before your booking window opens up. When purchasing Standard Theme Park Tickets, you can select a One Park Per Day ticket or a Park Hopper ticket. The Disneyland Resort currently has two theme parks to visit, Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. The One Park Per Day ticket works just like it sounds, you select the theme park you want to visit, and you stay there the entire day. But I recommend you consider the Park Hopper ticket option. The Park Hopper ticket gives you more flexibility, as you can "hop" to the other theme park after 1PM!

Also, since you're a planner, I highly recommend you start looking into the new services and attractions the Disneyland Resort has to offer! The new Disney Genie and Disney Genie+ services recently launched, and the Disneyland Resort website has some great how-to videos to help you get started!

As you start to plan out your magical vacation, if you have any more questions, we are here for you, so please come back!

    See ya real soon!
