Hi, I am planning a trip to Disneyland, and hoping to book a 4 night 3 park day package Check in to hotel will be late on our first day as our flight arrives in the evening. When will our 3 park tickets be valid from . I don't want to lose a park day?!

    Hi there, Fiona,

Since you are arriving late on your first day at the Disneyland Resort, I think you deserve a relaxing evening at the Downtown Disney District or your Disneyland Resort Hotel to rest and recover from your travels. But rest up as well as you can that night. You've got a lot of magic to enjoy in the theme parks afterward!

When you design your Disneyland Resort Vacation Package, you can choose to include theme park tickets with the number of days that matches your plans for visiting the parks, up to a total of five park days. If you would like to stay four nights and visit the theme parks during three days of your vacation, you may choose not only the three-day ticket option, but also which days you book your theme park reservations. Standard multi-day theme park tickets will expire 13 days after the first day of use. So, theoretically, you could stretch out your Disneyland Resort vacation up to two weeks with flexibility to use your park tickets on any days during that period you'd like. As long as you have your park reservations in place when you want them, you are good to go!

Park reservations may be made up to 180 days in advance. If you happen to book your Vacation Package before that window opens, hakuna matata! It means, "No worries!" Theme park tickets that come with a Vacation Package won't be directly electronically delivered in your travel ePackage until three days before your arrival. But, even without the tickets loaded, and once the 180 window arrives, you may return to your hotel reservation page and begin booking those park reservations for whichever days you'd prefer. Your park reservations will be electronically linked to your Vacation Package and, later, to your eTickets for use beginning on the first day of your visits to the theme parks.

I'm excited for your upcoming visit to The Happiest Place on Earth, Fiona. Should you have any more questions as you get ready, please don't hesitate to reach out to us here at planDisney.

    Have a magical time!
    ~Tony
