Hi, Judy!
I’m glad to hear you’re planning a visit to “The Happiest Place on Earth!” Fall is a fabulous time to visit for many reasons. I suggest planning for September (after Labor Day) through mid-October. Not only do crowds tend to be lighter (especially on weekdays), but hotel prices are often lower compared to other times of the year. Depending on when you go, there could be spooky special attractions, decorations and events to enjoy as part of
Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort! Be sure to check out the
park hours and schedule before arriving so you can plan your days based on your family’s list of must-dos.
If you can, I recommend staying at a
Disneyland Resort Hotel. Paradise Pier Hotel is typically the least expensive, and the rooms have a fun beach-inspired decor. My son loved the beach ball pillows! The Disneyland Hotel rooms are spacious and have been recently renovated to include chic furnishings with a touch of Disney magic. The carved wooden headboards are truly unique, and with the flip of a switch you can create your very own in-room light and music show! My personal favorite is Disney’s Grand Californian Resort & Spa, which exemplifies the Craftsman-style era in its grand architecture and decor. It is the closest to the theme parks and even features a private entrance into Disney California Adventure Park. As a Guest of a Disneyland Resort Hotel, you’ll be entitled to Extra Magic Hours, and you’ll never have to leave the excitement and wonder that Disney creates during your stay.
Please let me know if you have any other questions as you plan your pixie-dusted vacation, Judy! I'd be happy to help you.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
