    We're planning a trip to Disneyland in December and will be staying at the Grand Californian. I know that Pinnochio's Workshop is closed; will anything comparable be opening? We're not really interested in in-room childcare. Thanks!

    Hello, Colleen! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for your question!

    I am so excited that you will be staying at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel and Spa during your upcoming trip! The architecture is awe-inspiring and the pools and dining options located in the hotel are top notch. Plus, you can't stay any closer to parks, so you are mere footsteps away from all the action.

    You are correct that Pinnochio's Workshop has closed and, at this time, the only childcare available is through private third-party providers. I haven't heard of any type of replacement for Pinocchio's Workshop, but since things change at the Disneyland Resort all the time, keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog to see if any announcements come out about childcare before your visit.
