Hi there, Gabriel, and welcome to planDisney!
The holiday season is my absolute favorite time of year to visit the Disneyland Resort! There hasn't been any official announcements about what this year's
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort will entail, so I'm unfortunately not sure if the
"Magic Happens" Parade will continue during this season.
Having said that, I've noticed in previous years that the Disneyland Resort has replaced the ongoing annual parade with the seasonal "
A Christmas Fantasy Parade," so it's possible that will happen again this year.
Just this week, the
Disney Parks Blog has been rolling out all kinds of details for October as part of their
Halfway to Halloween series. That means we should know more about the Festive Holidays & Christmas season in June! Last June, the
Disney Parks Blog showcased all kinds of fun events and treats as part of the Halfway to the Holidays 2022 celebration, so it's likely that will return again this year.
While I do love the "Magic Happens" Parade, the Christmas Fantasy Parade is such a classic - you even get to see the big guy (Santa) at the end! Beyond that, there is so much to love about the holiday season at the Happiest Place on Earth (known as the Merriest Place on Earth during this season).
The holiday overlays are spectacular - I especially love the
"it's a small world" Holiday lighting ceremony each evening. I also love that some of my family's favorite attractions have seasonal changes as well - including
Haunted Mansion Holiday,
Mater's Jingle Jamboree, and
Luigi's Joy to the Whirl.
We have made so many memories learning about other holiday traditions at
Disney Festival of Holidays and meeting Santa at the
Redwood Creek Challenge Trail in Disney California Adventure Park, and watching the fireworks over
Sleeping Beauty's Winter Castle. In my opinion, there's no better way to get into the holiday spirit. I'm thrilled to hear you'll get to experience it!
Thank you again for your question, Gabriel. We'd love to help you plan your best trip ever to the Disneyland Resort, so make sure to come back and see us here at planDisney as you continue to plan your vacation.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
