We are planning a trip to Disneyland and want to get DAS setup before we arrive. How can we do that?

Greetings, Demie, and welcome to planDisney - thank you kindly for stopping by with your excellent question!

I am so pleased to hear that you will be visiting the Disneyland Resort during the Halloween Season, you are going to have so much fun!

Demie, Disneyland Resort offers many thoughtful accommodations for Guests with Disabilities to afford all who visit a most enjoyable experience. One such accommodation is the Disability Access Service commonly referred to as the DAS. We use this accommodation when visiting with my son and it presents us with alternative choices instead of waiting in a conventional queue for our DAS Return Time - we take this time to rest, enjoy some light shopping or have a quick snack nearby, it really helps!

Registering for the DAS can be completed in one of two ways, and the manner you are inquiring about is the DAS Advance, which is an online virtual chat that can occur from 30-days up to and no less than 2-days before your visit. Demie, you are also welcome to register in person at Disneyland Resort by visiting the City Hall, Chamber of Commerce, or any Guest Information location.

To prepare for your registration for either method, please ensure you have linked your theme park admission to your Disney account for all in your travel party, so that they may be included in your DAS planning during your visit. Kindly ensure that you and all in your travel party have secured a Disneyland Resort - Theme Park Reservation for each day of valid admission, and please be sure that the Guest registering for the DAS accommodation is present for registration, be it for the DAS Advance, or in person.

Demie, during your visit, the registered DAS Guest, or anyone on the DAS Guestlist may request a DAS Return Time at a Guest Experience Kiosk near attractions, at an attraction entrance, or by using the DAS accommodation on the Disneyland App - it'll appear as soon as registration is complete on your Welcome screen. Please remember, that the registered DAS Guest must be present when redeeming a DAS Return Time at an attraction entrance.

    Tips:
Did you know that you can use the Disney Genie+ Service to save time waiting in lines for attractions that offer the Lightning Lane entrance as well as the DAS accommodation? The Disney Genie+ Service is available for purchase during your Disneyland Resort theme park ticket purchase, or you can purchase the Disney Genie+ Service as soon as you enter a theme park via the Disneyland App. Plus, when you purchase the Disney Genie+ Service you will enjoy unlimited digital downloads of Disney PhotoPass photos including Magic Shots from your day, isn't that great?

Demie, I hope this information is helpful and I wish you all a Spooktacular visit to The Happiest Place on Earth, thank you so much for stopping by planDisney - we hope to see you again soon!
