Hi! We are planning our 1st trip to Disneyland. We can't decide if 3 days will be long enough to see and do everything we want or if we should be 4. What do you think? Its three adults and 2 kids ages 7 and 6. We will be staying across harbor blv.

    Hi Stephanie,

I'm so excited for your family to visit the Disneyland Resort.

I would suggest maximizing your time by purchasing a 4-Day Park Hopper Ticket so you don't feel rushed. Look at the park opening times and visit the park that opens first that day. Be sure to utilize the FASTPASS service, this will optimize your time in the parks.

There are select attractions that have FASTPASS kiosks (these tend to be the more popular attractions). You will insert your Park Admission Ticket into the kiosk and receive a FASTPASS. The FASTPASS will have a Return Time printed on it so you can come back later and avoid the long line at that attraction. Just remember to return within the time window printed on your FASTPASS and then enter through the FASTPASS entrance and not the Standby entrance.

On one of the days, begin at Disney California Adventure Park and get a FASTPASS for Radiator Springs Racers Attraction. Ride some attractions until your return time. We like to ride The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel's Undersea Adventure attraction while waiting for our return time, it's a splashing good time.

You'll also want to make dining reservations ahead of time. I suggest a Character Dining experience, they are a fun-filled and easy way for your little ones to get their picture taken with their beloved characters without waiting in long lines. Carthay Circle Restaurant is a must-see and their menu is exquisite, you will want to try their Rose Petal Soda or the Carthay Club Mojito, these being a tribute to the "Golden Age" of Hollywood. You can make reservations by calling Disneyland Dining at (714) 781- DINE, to insure your party has a table.

I hope this helps. If you have any more questions, please write me back on how I can help you plan your pixie-dusted vacation.

    Wishing you magic.
