Hi there, Lora!
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for dropping by with your
Disneyland Resort vacation planning question. I'm so excited to hear you're planning a summertime visit to The Happiest Place on Earth! You're in for an extra special visit because the Disney100 Celebration at Disneyland Resort just kicked off, debuting new nighttime spectaculars like
Wondrous Journeys at Disneyland Park and
World of Color - ONE at Disney California Adventure Park.
Lora, Disneyland Resort theme park tickets are nonrefundable and nontransferable. Even if you do not visit a theme park on the day of your originally-planned visit, you will still be able to use the theme park ticket through the end of the ticket's expiration period. However, even if you aren't able to use the theme park ticket before it expires, as long as the original ticket is wholly unused, you'll still be able to apply the amount paid towards a new theme park ticket! I encourage you to check out the
eTicket Terms and Conditions for additional details.
If you do decide to purchase theme park tickets, don't forget to make your
theme park reservations as well! Currently, Guests are required to have both valid theme park admission and theme park reservations in order to enter a Disneyland Resort theme park. Lora, I also encourage you to download the
Disneyland Resort mobile app ahead of your visit. You can use the mobile app to access your theme park ticket barcodes to enter the theme parks, utilize
Disney Genie and Disney Genie+ services, and even place
Mobile Food and Beverage Orders!
I'm wishing you a most magical and memorable visit to Disneyland Resort, Lora. If you have additional vacation planning questions, please feel free to stop back by planDisney anytime - we're happy to help!
See ya real soon,
Lauren
