we are planning a trip to Disneyland & California Adventures in November. we leave Nov 10th and our first park day will be Nov 11th. my son is currently 2 years old and he will turn 3 that day on Nov 11th. would he then be required to have a ticket?

    Hi Yadira, welcome to planDisney!

How exciting! The Disneyland Resort is my absolute favorite place to celebrate birthdays. Be sure to visit City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland Park, or at Guest Services in Disney California Adventure Park to pick up your complimentary birthday button for your son!

But back to your main question. Children ages three and above need a theme park ticket to enter the parks. As your son will be three years old on November 11, 2022, if you are planning to visit on that day, he will need a ticket to enter the parks.

Before I let you go, I do want to mention that the Baby Care Centers are amazing and worth a visit! My wife and I used them often for our little ones. They offer a clean and comfortable facility with changing rooms, nursing rooms, a feeding area with high chairs, and more. At Disneyland Park, it's located at the end of Main Street, U.S.A., next to First Aid. At Disney California Adventure Park, the baby care center is located next to Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop, across from The Bakery Tour in Pacific Wharf.
