Hello I am planning a trip to Disneyland California adventure on March 5th and March 6th I am wondering what rides will be closed for renovations or closed for any reason on those days

Hi Andrea! Welcome to planDisney. Thank you for bringing your question to us. It is a great day to talk Disneyland Resort planning. To be honest, every day that I get to help a Guest with a planning question feels like a great day to me.

I completely understand wanting to know what to expect when it comes to attraction and experience closures so that you can set your expectations early. Your visit is just around the corner, so let’s get right to it! I took a look at the Closed for Refurbishment section on the Disneyland Mobile App. For your visit days, here is what currently shows as unavailable on March 5, 2026 for both parks and at the hotels:

    • Pools at Pixar Place Hotel
    • Jungle Cruise
    • Oga’s Cantina at the Disneyland Resort
    • Pirate’s Lair on Tom Sawyer Island
    • Grizzly River Run
    • Jumpin’ Jellyfish

For March 6, 2026, the following are listed as closed:

    • Pools at Pixar Place Hotel
    • Jungle Cruise
    • Oga’s Cantina at the Disneyland Resort
    • Grizzly River Run

These closures can change at any time, and checking the most up to date schedule is as simple as opening the Disneyland App and accessing the pixie dusted power in the palm of your hand! To check the schedule, tap the three line menu button on the bottom right, scroll to the My Visit section, then select Park Hours and Info. Slide the calendar to your visit date, then scroll down to the Closed for Refurbishment section. I always make it part of my pre-trip routine so I know exactly what will not be available. It really helps me plan my day because I can focus on the experiences that are open and skip adding in the ones that are not.

Andrea, I hope this helps you feel a little more prepared for your upcoming visit. If you think of anything else while you plan, do not hesitate to come back and see us. We are always here to help.

Wishing many magical memories to you,
    Kimberly
