Hi there, Chris! Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for your great question regarding attraction closures! We love to help make your
Disneyland Resort visit practically perfect in every way!
Knowing ahead of time which attractions or entertainment offerings may be down for refurbishment is a great way to manage expectations and make the most of your Disney day. Since schedules can change, I’ll walk you through how to check this information anytime you’re feeling curious. Using your perfect pocket pixie dust planning guide (officially known as the
Disneyland app), start by tapping the Menu, the three lines in the bottom right corner. From there, scroll down to Park Hours & Info, tap the calendar icon, and select the date of your visit. Scroll down to the Closed for Refurbishment section to check out the current closures.
At the time I’m writing this, I can see the current closure schedule through March 14, 2026. Beginning on March 9, the first day of your visit, the following attractions and locations are currently listed as closed for refurbishment:
- Jungle Cruise
- Oga's Cantina at the Disneyland Resort
- Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance
- Golden Zephyr
- Grizzly River Run
I hope your favorite isn’t on the list, but even if it is, keep in mind that schedules can change, and sometimes a closed attraction leads to discovering a new favorite! You’ll also be visiting just after the start of the
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival, which features special marketplaces, unique food and beverage offerings, cooking demonstrations, and more. The Sip and Savor Pass is a fun way to sample some of the festival’s highlights.
I hope your visit is magical, with many wonderful memories. Please don’t hesitate to come back with any other questions as you continue planning!
Kimberly
