Welcome to planDisney, Laura!
The Holidays are an absolutely dazzling time to visit the Disneyland Resort! I have made several trips at the beginning of November and it's astonishing how quickly they transition the parks from Halloween Time to the Holidays. Cast Members actually start transforming parks right after they close on Halloween Night and they are usually 100% done within a week or two. On a past trip, the huge Christmas tree in Disneyland Park was set up and Sleeping Beauty Castle was already covered in snow and icicles by November 4th.
We don't yet know the official start of the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort this year, so keep your eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for any announcements. But I would say there is a good chance that your trip during the second week of November could very well overlap with the start of the Holidays. While some of the Holiday offerings could change this year, you might be able to enjoy such perennial favorites as A Christmas Fantasy Parade, Believe...in Holiday Magic Fireworks, and
"it's a small world" Holiday. Check the
entertainment schedule about 30-45 days before your trip for official entertainment offerings and showtimes.
If you have any other questions as you plan your Holiday adventure to the Happiest Place on Earth, be sure to stop by planDisney again!
