I am planning a trip to Disneyland (Anaheim, CA) for my daughters 5th bday. What park and what attractions would give her the ultimately birthday? What park? What attractions would be the ultimate 5th bday? My sister will be taking her in June also.

Hello, Rachel! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I am so excited that you are planning your daughter’s magical 5th birthday at the Happiest Place on Earth! My daughter will be 5 years old in a month or so and I can absolutely tell you that she loves both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. So, plan on purchasing Park Hopper tickets so your daughter can enjoy attractions like “it’s a small world,” The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure, Toy Story Midway Mania, and Pirates of the Caribbean. Additionally, if your daughter is a big princess fan, she can meet up to three princesses at Royal Hall in Fantasy Faire in Disneyland Park and Anna and Elsa over in Disney California Adventure Park. To make the day extra special, consider booking a princess transformation at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique! There are several packages to choose from that include hairstyling, shimmering make up, and some packages even include a princess gown.

You might also want to book a special meal to celebrate your daughter’s big day. A character meal like the Minnie & Friends – Breakfast in the Park at the Plaza Inn is a super fun way to start the day. Or maybe you want to end the day with dinner at Goofy’s Kitchen in the Disneyland Hotel. You can even order a custom birthday cake to be delivered to your table. Advanced reservations are highly recommended for both meals and can be made online or by calling (714) 781-3463.

Finally, don’t forget to pick up a complimentary birthday button for your daughter at one of the Guest Relations locations in the parks. Wishing your daughter a very happy birthday and I hope you both have a magnificent time at the Disneyland Resort!
