I am planning my 1st trip to Disney for my 3yr old. I have it narrowed down to staying either at Caribbean Beach Resort or Coronado Springs.....CANNOT make my mind up. Please help!

Hi Amy!  This question can surely be answered in different ways by the panelists but I will answer according to my own experience!

My definite answer is Coronado Springs resort! I find this resort very relaxing and clean and calm and all three of those things I think are important when you have a busy vacation at Walt Disney World.  This resort is labeled a convention resort as it has some large facilities to hold groups. But I find that a positive as it also has more amenities then the other moderates. It has a hair salon, a spa, a business center, and better dining choices. Being a convention resort it also can have less children giving those that do choose it a better time at the pools and recreation facilities. During the day the conventioneers are in meetings etc and the atmosphere is quite nice.  I love the rooms and they were recently all refurbished over the last four years. All rooms have queen beds and decor is simple but nice.

Caribbean Beach is spread out more in my opinion and the rooms are dark and and not refreshing. The food court was ok but I thought some of the Value food areas were even better then this one. One of the biggest things I disliked about the resort is the fact that you don't have a lobby area that you can access. It is completely separate from the resort itself and you basically have to drive to reach it. The pool is nice but it seems more crowded.

My vote....Coronado Springs would get the reservation!
