    We (6) are planning our 6th trip to Disney this year, but it is the first time we are all flying, and not having a car at our disposal. Do you know of any public transportation that will take us to places outside disney (ie walmart or other restruants?)

    To reach outside locations you can use the Orlando city bus system and you can catch a bus at Downtown Disney.  The easiest mode of transportation would be to take a taxi to your destination.  with a large group you can request a van cab which will seat your large party of 6.  You can also request one that carries a car seat as many keep them in the back of the vans or the trunks of the cabs.
