We are planning our 1st trip to Disney World with our 5 year old daughter. I was wandering how many days we should plan on spending at Magic Kingdom because my girl wants to do everything there?

    Hi Rachel!

Magic Kingdom is my favorite Disney park.  It holds a lot of dear memories for me, and I know that you'll be making wonderful memories of your own during your first trip there.  I'm so excited for you!  I really think that 1 1/2  to 2 days is perfect.  You have a 5 year old who is going to get tired (as will you), and if you have the mind set that you have time to take everything in at a leisurely pace, you'll get more out of your visit.    The extra time will also give you a chance to take her on her favorite rides a second time, and you won't have to rush to make a decision on souvenir shopping.  You can look around and come back if you really want that item.

I hope you have a magical trip!  Enjoy the planning that goes along with it...that's half the fun!  Let us know if you have any other questions...I love my 1st timers!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
