Hi-ya Lindsey!
Hooray for your first Walt Disney World Resort vacation! I'm thrilled to hear you and your family are planning your adventure to the Most Magical Place on Earth.
If you plan on visiting Magic Kingdom Park the most often, there is no doubt that one of the "Monorail Resorts" (I recommend Disney's Contemporary Resort) or even Disney's Wilderness Lodge offers the most convenience, but as deluxe resorts, they can be a bit pricey. My family usually chooses a Moderate Resort for a perfect mix of amenities and affordability. I suggest Disney's Port Orleans Resort either
Riverside or
French Quarter. Although it may take a little longer to return to your resort for a mid-afternoon nap and break from the parks, the Disney Transportation system makes it easy and both of these resorts are an absolute lovely retreat.
I also recommend becoming familiar with the
Baby Care Centers. Although the name might imply it, they definitely aren't just for babies and you may find them a welcome break to sit and rest with your little one for a bit. I've attached a video from one of my fellow panelists for a closer look at all they offer.
Planning your first Walt Disney World Resort vacation can be a little overwhelming, even for Disneyland pros. If you would like any other recommendations, suggestions or assistance, please let me know. I'd love to help you plan a practically perfect trip for your family.
Magical Wishes,
Lauren
