We are planning a trip to Disney World the week prior to Easter 2013. Will there be any Easter festivities that week? I know in the past Mr. And Mrs. Easter Bunny have spent the week at Disney.

    Hi, Cindy!

Mr. and Mrs. Bunny would not miss a chance to visit Walt Disney World!  They will be at the Magic Kingdom for pictures. Stop by to say "HI" to everyone's favorite Easter Bunny!  They will be in the Magic Kingdom through April 8th.   You will also want to see the lovely Azalea Trail Maids make their way down Main Street about 15 minutes prior to the 3:00 parade on Easter Sunday.

    Other Easter happenings:
-Easter Services will take place at the Contemporary for those wanting to participate in a religious service.
-Each resort will have its own activities, each with some type of candy hunt. Check with your resort for specific activities and times.
-There is usually an egg hunt in Epcot for the kids

Most times and schedules have not been posted, but I would keep checking the Disney Parks Blog for all the latest Easter updates.   Wishing you a Happy Spring and a very Happy Easter!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
