Hi Courtlin,
When planning a trip to Walt Disney World, staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel offers a host of perks that can enhance your experience. You’ll enjoy benefits such as
Early Theme Park Entry, complimentary transportation to the parks, and the convenience of being immersed in Disney magic throughout their stay. Additionally, you can take advantage of unique Disney Resort activities and amenities that make your visit even more special.
As for dining options, the
Disney Dining Plans can be a great way to simplify your meal planning and budgeting. These plans offer a convenient way to pre-pay for your meals and include a range of dining choices across Disney Resort hotels and theme parks.
Disney Dining Plans are only available to guests staying at Walt Disney World Resort hotels, not Good Neighbor Hotels. This means if you choose to stay at a Good Neighbor Hotel, you won't be able to book a Disney Dining Plan.
That said, don’t be discouraged if you're considering a
Good Neighbor Hotel. While my family and I have enjoyed the convenience of the dining plan in the past, I don’t always find that I need the plan for anything other than to budget in advance and have most of my vacation paid for before I arrive. In my experience, the savings from the plan haven’t always been significant when compared to paying out-of-pocket for meals. I recommend crunching the numbers to see if staying at a Good Neighbor Hotel might offer better value for your vacation budget.
Lastly, be sure to check for any
Special Offers for your stay. Sometimes you'll be able to find great discounts on Theme Park Tickets, special room rates, and even free dining!
Whatever you decide, I’m wishing you the most magical vacation!
