Planning a trip to Disney world summer of 2013, we are a family of 5, 2 adults and 3 kids ages 7,9,11. Can we find a resort regular room in a package or do we have to stay in a suite? We would like to stay in the art of animation resort.

    Hi, Michelle!

If your family of 5 would like to stay at the beautiful Art of Animation Resort, you will need to book one of their amazing Family Suites, as the Standard Rooms have a maximum capacity of 4 guests.

Other room options for a family of 5 include booking 2 Standard Rooms at a Value Resort and request connecting rooms, booking a room at Port Orleans Riverside (moderate resort) where rooms in the Alligator Bayou section can accommodate a family of 5, or many of the Deluxe Resort rooms have a daybed allowing for a 5th guest.

Hope this helps!  Have fun choosing the perfect room for your family!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
