We are planning a trip to Disney World. We’re staying in the Animal Kingdom. We have reservations to attend the Princess Tea Party at the Magic Kingdom. What’s the fastest/most efficient way for us to travel to the different parks w/ small children?

    Hello, Lindsay!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We are delighted to answer your question regarding your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!

I totally understand your question because I have five kids, and we now have A LOT of experience traveling with kids at every stage of life! Based on my experience, I would say the easiest and most convenient way to travel to the different Disney Theme Parks is to use the complimentary Disney Bus Transportation. One of the new features added at the bus stops are monitors that keep you informed on how long a bus will take to arrive at your resort. My wife and I have also found that it is really not that hard to fold up strollers and load a bus safely with the kids.

Now, the fastest way to travel would be to use your smartphone and request a ride using the Minnie Van Service. Based on my experience, the wait time to use the Minnie Van Service was minimal and did save time traveling to and from our Disney Resort. However, my family really only uses this service if we have an early Disney Dining reservation or Disney Special Event with a time constraint because of the cost associated with using this service.

I believe your reservation for the Disney Perfectly Princess Tea is located at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, but there is a very easy route to arrive at your MAGICAL tea party! Just take a bus from Disney's Animal Kingdom Resort to Magic Kingdom. From there, take a short Monorail ride around until you arrive at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.

If you have other questions, please let us know!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
