Hi there, Amanda - welcome to
planDisney!
Thanks for stopping by with a question - we love to help Guests just like you plan your very own, very magical,
Walt Disney World Resort vacations!
Guests are currently welcome to
bring outside food and drink into the Theme Parks, with some caveats. One such restriction is that the item can't require "processing" and while I think that could be interpreted to restrict powders that need to be mixed with liquid to consume, I don't think that's the intent of the restriction - it's more along the lines of a "don't bring ingredients to cook a meal" type of thing.
From my own experience, I've had no trouble bringing vitamins and medications I need to take with me to the Theme Parks. I know other Guests who have taken powdered baby formula and powdered drink flavoring without any trouble. That being said, I do have a suggestion to help make sure you don't run into any issues.
Whenever possible, keep the items in their original packaging. For example, if you have the option of bringing individual serving packets of the supplement powder in the manufacturer's packaging, rather than bringing a baggie of the powder you've portioned out yourself, that would be preferable. If the Security Cast Members did have any concerns about whether the item is permitted in the Theme Parks, the original packaging with ingredients listed can help with that determination. Of course,
illegal substances are never permitted under any circumstances.I hope this information is helpful as you continue planning for your upcoming trip. If your travels take you to
EPCOT, be sure to check out my favorite new attraction -
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind - it's a blast!
