    We are planning another trip to Disney World in September, and this time we are staying in a villa at Bay Lake Tower. I understand that there is a rooftop bar/lounge where you can view the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom. Will we have access to this?

    Hi Jerid,

    You will love staying at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort.  The Top of the World Lounge is a 77 seat full service bar with appetizers and beverages for purchase.  It is located on the 16th floor of Bay Lake Tower.  Connecting with the Lounge is an observation deck offering magnificent views of the Magic Kingdom.  The Top of the World Lounge is open from 5 pm to midnight every day.  This Lounge is open only to guests who are staying at Bay Lake Towers using their Disney Vacation Club membership (vacation Points or cash), guests who are staying in a room with that DVC member, and guests who are staying in a room reserved by a DVC Member with Vacation points.  I am not sure how you booked your reservation so I wanted you to know about who is allowed in the Lounge.  The Bay Lake Tower Villas are just wonderful.  You will love having access to the Magic Kingdom and Epcot via the Monorail.  It is so convenient!  I hope your vacation is magical!  Send me a follow up question if I can help you further.
