Hiya, Tzvi, and welcome to planDisney! I'm thrilled that you're here with this fantastic question about planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation with your family! It sounds like you're in the beginning stages of your vacation planning, and you've come to the right place!
Tzvi, you'll be happy to know that I have a great suggestion for your family's lodging! I definitely recommend staying within the magic at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel. You'll love the theming and convenience of staying at a Disney Resort! For your family, I recommend checking out a Family Suite at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort. This unique type of room allows for a family of six people to stay in one room together.
There are so many awesome features of this type of room! When you walk in, you'll see a table that converts into a convenient bed (such a cool feature!), and then you'll head into the sitting area with a pull-out sofa bed. There's also a kitchenette and a full bathroom with a bathtub off of this main living area. Possibly the best part of the Family Suite is the separate bedroom that's closed off with a door for added privacy! The bedroom has its own full bathroom, as well. There's also space for a pack and play in this room (I recently checked)! You should be able to request an additional pack and play or crib when you arrive.
Disney's Art of Animation Resort is within the "
Value Resorts" category of Disney Resorts. When doing your research, you'll also find "
Moderate Resorts" and "
Deluxe Resorts". The Deluxe Resorts tend to have higher pricing than Moderate Resorts, which tend to have higher pricing than Value Resorts. The fourth category of Resorts is "
Deluxe Villa Resorts," where you'll find 1-, 2-, and 3-Bedroom Villas that feature full kitchens, separate bedrooms, lots of thoughtful storage, a washer and dryer, and more. We love staying in these rooms with our large extended family because we like to have access to a kitchen and laundry, as well as the privacy of multiple bedrooms. If having meals in your room and being able to do laundry in your room would provide value to your family, you can definitely check out these Resorts, though the price will likely be higher than a room at a Value Resort. It all depends on what features will make your vacation the best it can be!
Tzvi, I hope this is helpful to you as you plan your vacation. Please stop by planDisney anytime with any questions you have as you navigate the planning process - I know it can be a bit overwhelming at times, so please let us know how we can help! That's why we are here!
