Hello, we are planning a trip to Disney World one of the three dates: Mar 29-Apr 4; Apr 26-May 3; May 3-9. Crowd wise would we be okay for Mar date since Easter is later in April this year? We have been last week of Feb and 1st week of May before

    Hi Tammy,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question! I am happy to help you consider travel dates to Walt Disney World.

Generally, I find that travel to Walt Disney World tends to peak around Easter in the spring. This is because many schools build their Spring Breaks around Easter, so it is a convenient time for families to travel. None of your dates are right at Easter, so you will avoid that most crowded time. Again because of when schools, including colleges and universities, typically offer Spring Breaks, the earlier travel dates that you mention at the end of March and beginning of April will likely be the most busy of the three weeks. The week at the end of April and the week at the beginning of May will like be fairly similar, with the week that is only in May likely being the least crowded as it is getting further away from Spring Breaks and Easter.

Whenever you are traveling in the spring, be sure to check out the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. This colorful festival features beautiful topiaries, delicious outdoor kitchens, and upbeat concerts!

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Tammy. Have a great time planning your magical vacation, and please do let us know if you have any further questions.
