We are planning a trip to Disney world in October. My three year old is a very slim eater. He eats no meat and few vegetables. He loves fries and mac and cheese. Can we book at a Disney resort and not purchase a meal plan for him; just buy me and my hubby

    Hello, Veronica,

Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  How wonderful that you are planning a trip to Walt Disney World during October!  When you make your resort reservations as part of the Magic Your Way Vacation package, you'll have the option to purchase the Disney Dining Plan. However to purchase the Disney Dining Plan, it must be purchased for everyone in your party.

I'd encourage you to look through the menus of some of the places you'd like to dine at while on your trip.  By looking them over, you can know if there be be choices your son would like well enough to warrant purchasing the Disney Dining Plan for your family.

By the way, did you happen to see that the dates for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party were recently released?  If you aren't familiar with this, it is such an incredibly fun Halloween-themed party at the Magic Kingdom.  You can even go trick or treating!  Please note, however, that this event does require separate admission.

If we can help with any further questions, please let us know.  Wishing you a magical trip! -Kara
