Hi Sherdarria! Thanksgiving is a popular time for a Walt Disney World visit. You get a taste of the Christmas holidays coming up as the parks decorate and start celebrating.
If this is your first visit and can stay long enough I always suggest four full days as a minimum. The first day you arrive relax and enjoy your resort or take a trip to Disney Springs for dinner. Then plan the next four days to be in one of the parks. It is a personal choice whether you purchase
Park Hopper option with your tickets or stick to one park for each day.
Each of the four Disney parks; Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom, offer great entertainment and enjoyment for all ages. Each park will have a
Baby Care Center where you can find relief with your five month old. There are great dining choices from table service, reservations required, to quick service spots to choose from.
If you can arrive early in the week of Thanksgiving you will find the parks just a little less crowded. Thanksgiving day through Sunday the parks will be at their fullest as many local friends and family come to enjoy the holiday together. Again my suggestion is to try to visit for five nights and four days if possible to really explore the four parks and the entire Walt Disney World resort. Whatever time you can spend you will have an incredible vacation!
