Hi Katie,
Oooh, you have two really great hotels to choose from. My all-time favorite Walt Disney World Resort Hotel is
Disney's Wilderness Lodge.
Its majestic lobby, complete with totem poles and tee-pee chandeliers overhead while the theme songs of classic western movies play overhead, is sure to welcome you and your family with its jaw-dropping theming. This resort also has two of my favorite dining locations,
Whispering Canyon Cafe and Artist Point. Your kids are the perfect age to enjoy the knee-slappin', hoot-hollerin' good times and delicious food served up daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner at Whispering Canyon Cafe. All three of my kids love this restaurant and ask to go back each trip. The rooms have a cozy yet roomy feel to them and there are no bad views, in my opinion. Even the woods views are wonderful since it completes the feel of staying somewhere in the Pacific Northwest. Also available at this resort are bunk bed rooms, which could be very accommodating for siblings. Keep in mind that these rooms are a separate category of rooms. Another great aspect is that it tends to be a bit more budget friendly than its deluxe counterpart, Disney's Contemporary Resort. Since Disney's Wilderness Lodge is not on the monorail line, the rooms can be slightly less expensive and thus allowing more room in your budget for other magic.
Don't get me wrong, Disney's Contemporary Resort is convenient, fun, and has spectacular views and dining. So, whichever you choose, I think you will have a wonderful trip.
