Hi Rhonda!
It's wonderful to see you dropping by planDisney with a question! Let me start off with May the Force be with you as you plan for a larger group. It takes patience and persistence!
As you suspect,
Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White is a popular dining location, so I checked availability for a party of eight for an upcoming trip of mine. I am happy to report that I was able to find a few reservations and our trip is 36 days away, so well within the current
advanced dining reservation booking window. While there could be other factors that affect availability, I do think there is a good chance you will be able to make a reservation. I will add that my girls and I have dined here and had a fantastic experience. The characters are fun and the photos we took still make me laugh.
Keep in mind also that you can split your group into two smaller groups to make separate reservations at about the same time. If you have to split the group to secure reservations, when you get to the restaurant, you can ask that they seat you together. Just keep in mind that cast members will try their best, but they may not be able to seat the parties together.
As you continue to make dining plans, I hope you have considered breakfast at
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera and a meal at
1900 Park Fare. My girls and I are so excited about the grand reopening of 1900 Park Fare. It was one of the first restaurants they experienced when we took them to the Walt Disney World® Resort for the first time when they were 5-years old, so it holds special memories for us. And at Topolino's Terrace, the characters at breakfast are absolutely adorable, the food is good, and the views from the restaurant are lovely!
Looking at your arrival date, I know it may be hard to wait! Prior to our trips, we all sit down as a family, pick the restaurants we want to experience, everyone selects what they might like to eat from the menus, and we estimate the cost of food for the trip. Or, if you plan to use a
Disney Dining Plan, you can just check the menus to see what the food options are at each. To check the menus, just go to the homepage of each dining location and click on View Menu.
Rhonda, I do have one final tip - consider
Memory Maker. I am so grateful for all of the incredible, silly photos we have from our trips over the years. Now that our girls are 17-years old, all of those photos bring back so many stories from our park adventures. So take all of the photos when you visit!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
