Hey there, DeAnte, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It's always such a pleasure to talk Disney with a fellow Floridian!
What a wonderful birthday you have planned for your sister! I'm sure she'll just love her special Disney day. I've celebrated many a birthday at the Walt Disney World Resort, and I can tell you that no matter how old I get, a Disney birthday makes me feel like a kid again.
I'm glad you were able to take advantage of one of
Disney's Special Offers for Florida residents for your Disney Resort hotel room. If you reserved the Resort hotel room in your name to receive your Florida Resident rate, you'll just show your
proof of Florida residency when you check in. It's fine for your room reservation that the rest of your party are not Florida residents. However, all adults using
Florida Resident Tickets will need to show proof of residency before entering the Theme Parks. As long as you're the only one using a Florida Resident Ticket, you should be good to go!
DeAnte, be sure to ask for a celebration button for your sister when you arrive at your Resort hotel, too! She can wear it throughout the trip, and she'll love all the warm birthday wishes she'll get from Cast Members as you tour the Parks. Plus, you never know when a little extra pixie dust may fall!
You may also want to get her an
in-room celebration package from
Disney Floral & Gifts. Imagine the look on her face when she sees festive room decorations or a basket of goodies for her special day!
I hope this helps you plan a magical birthday at Walt Disney World for your sister, DeAnte. Please come see us again if you have any more questions!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
