Planning a trip to Disney World May of 2027! How soon can I book my resort room and park tickets?

Hello Caronnie, and welcome back to planDisney! I love that you're already planning your 2027 trip. Getting an early start is the best way to ensure a truly magical experience. Giving yourself plenty of time to plan helps your trip run smoothly and keeps you fully informed about everything happening at Walt Disney World Resort.

For 2027 vacations, booking typically opens around May 2026, although this is based on past trends and not guaranteed. When Disney releases new dates, reservations for January through October usually become available all at once, with the remaining months opening later in the year, often in late summer or early fall. If your travel dates fall within those first months of 2027, you should be able to book as soon as the calendar opens in May, assuming Disney follows its usual releases.

Before the calendar goes live, I recommend having a few things ready to avoid feeling overwhelmed. Research several Resort hotel options and make a list of places you'd be happy to stay. There are some fantastic perks to staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, so check them out to familiarize yourself with everything offered.

I also encourage you to check out Disney's special offers regularly to ensure you get the best possible rate for your magical stay. As these deals often change, if a better one becomes available after you book, you can easily add it to your reservation. Who doesn't love saving a little extra?

When booking your Resort hotel, you can either add park tickets to create a vacation package or make a room-only reservation and purchase tickets later at your convenience. I love that you can secure your hotel with just a small deposit, which makes budgeting for your trip even easier.

Caronnie, I do hope this helped and that you have the most magical stay! Come back and see us soon!

    Sending pixie-dusted magic,
