We are planning a trip to Disney world in May and are planning to stay at all star movies My question is which theme section is the closest to the food court

Hi Courtney and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

You are going to have a wonderful stay at Disney's All-Star Movies Resort!

Buildings 1, 4, 5, 8, 9 & 10 are the closest buildings to Cinema Hall where you will find the check-in desk, Reel Fun Arcade, Donald’s Double Feature shop, and World Premiere Food Court.

Preferred Rooms (which come at an additional cost) are located in all of these buildings but, not every room in these buildings are considered to be Preferred. Some rooms (usually at the far ends of these buildings) are considered to be Standard.

A room in any one of these buildings will not be too far away from the food court.

There is also lots of really useful information on specific good room numbers to request on the unofficial website Touring Plans (https://touringplans.com/walt-disney-world/hotels/disneys-all-star-movies-resort#).

You can see a map of the Resort on the unofficial website DIS by searching for the following :- http://www.wdwinfo.com/resortmaps/allstarmovie.htm

Wishing you a magical trip filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
