Planning a trip to Disney World late Jan. early Feb. Can you tell me if any of the moderate or value hotels or their food courts will be under renovation at that time?

    Hi Cathy Lynn,

Thank you for stopping by today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. So glad to know you will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort during the winter.

Although Mickey is the only one that really knows if any of the Resorts may get reimagined, here's some of the information he did share with us regarding value and moderate Resort hotels. Please be advised that this is subject to change at any time.

Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is undergoing refurbishments that do affect some areas including Old Port Royale Food Court, Shutters at Old Port Royale, Banana Cabana Pool Bar and Calypso Trading Post.
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is undergoing refurbishments with the construction of a new 15-story tower, and rooms being reimagined. At this time, no food areas are being affected.
Disney's Art of Animation Resort may have certain areas temporarily affected by the construction of the upcoming Disney Skyliner transportation system.
Disney's Pop Century Resort is undergoing reimagining of some of their rooms. No other areas are expected to be affected.

One last tip: remember to check your resort's web page for up-to-date information. Also be sure to follow the Disney Parks Blog for announcements. Happy planning!
