Hi Cynthia! Thanks for coming back to planDisney! I’m glad you find our happy group of Disney fans helpful with your planning!
As the saying goes, ‘All good things must come to an end.’ The saying also applies to the beautiful holiday decorations at the Walt Disney World Resort. By the time the calendar flips to January 1, Mickey and the gang have completed 4 months of holiday parties (Halloween and Christmas) at Magic Kingdom Park! That’s a lot of partying! Of course, the Christmas decorations are up at the parks and resort hotels throughout November and December.
You are likely to see Christmas decorations at the beginning of your new year visit, but will notice the decor disappearing throughout the week. Most of the holiday decorations come down through the first full week of January.
Cynthia, if you are a big fan of Christmas and Disney, then you might want to visit
Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe at Magic Kingdom Park and
Disney’s Days of Christmas at Disney Springs! I can’t visit the Walt Disney World Resort without going to these stores to get into the Christmas spirit! These stores are open year-round for Guests to enjoy!
Dreams do come true!
Jonathan
